Today, I’m celebrating the 4th of March (the international day of scrapbooking) with a touching project, a sweet recipe book to keep all the recipes from my family. I wanted to create a special album to keep them, so I thought the Grimm’s tale “Hansel and Gretel” with its chocolate house would fit perfectly with the content.
Since it is based in a book story, I present my project to Simon Says Stamp challenge.
Moreover, as I’m part of the DT of “El taller de Rachel” (Gargamell Scrap) that was also my inspirating work for their month challenge. If you are interested, don’t hesitate to participate!

To créate this mini-album I started cutting pages and cardboards with a house form. I used stencils and disstress to create the facade and I used the big shot to cut out some of the elements.
I’m sure the part you would like the most is the idea of using a real fork from a coffee shop (painted in white chalk paint) for the ring biding.

Every page contains a single and unique recipe from my family, with a photo at the front and inside of a pocket the written part.
For the pages I used the kitchen collection from “Anita y su mundo”.
