I´ve been completely off. I admit it. But, this time, I´ve got a good excuse. Finally, after about a million years or so (ok, more like 20 years... :)) I´ve decided to take my CPE exam. For those of you who don´t know what it is, CPE is THE english exam. The one that allows you to prove you´re bilingual. Back when I was eighteen, I was prepared and ready to take it, but the dates of the exam were the same as the ones for my Selectivity exam. After that, when I got to university, I did not have the time, nor the intentions, so I just posponed it indefinitely. Until last week, when out of the blue came up the idea of trying again. So, here I am. Between my job, my english, and this hot weather (that keeps me heading for the beach) I´ve got little time left por handcrafts. So, and in order to practice my writing, I´ve thought perhaps it would be a good idea to start by writing my posts both in spanish and in english. And since I haven´t had time to make anything myself to show you, I´m writing about some new technique I´ve seen on the web, and that I think will be my next experiment. I say new, just to say something, because although I had never seen it, it´s a very acient technique. Its called tatting (frivolité, in spanish) and it´s a kind of lace that offers lots of possibilities for jewelry making.
These are some of the beauties that can be found in the internet:
And these are a series of videos, that explain very well how to work with this technique.

What do you think? Will I be able to achieve it?
