Mi punto de partida era escoger un diseño sencillo (pero no demasiado) y entre varias ideas el patrón elegido fue "Princess Chantilly" de DROPS Design que combina punto bobo con un diagrama en el centro.
Al principio pensaba que se me iba a hacer un poco pesado de tejer pero en realidad no es muy diferente a hacer otro tipo de prendas y, aunque me ha llevado tiempo, ha resultado bastante entretenido.
¿No os parece un regalo perfecto para un recién nacido?
P.D: Mi primera mantita de ganchillo y mi primera mantita "granny chic"
Since I started crafting Ive made several things for babies but until now I had never knitted a baby blanket.
My starting point was to choose a simple design (but not too much) and among several ideas the chosen pattern was "Princess Chantilly" by DROPS Design which combines garter stitch with a diagram in the middle.
At the beginning I thought it would be boring to knit but actually it is not very different to making other types of garments and, although it took me some time, it was quite entertaining.
Dont you think it is the perfect gift for a newborn?
