Por un lado tenía claro que quería hacerle un conjunto de bebé, pero también me apetecía hacerle algún muñeco de amigurumi y casi por casualidad descubrí el patrón Lola the Ladybird de Alison North que me pareció el regalo perfecto.
La verdad es que no puede hacerme más feliz pensar que, a pesar de estar a tantos kilómetros de distancia, la pequeña Liz puede jugar con algo hecho por mí.
Last summer my friend Erica (who is like my little sister on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean) was mother for the first time so since the moment I knew she was pregnant I started looking for ideas to make a gift to celebrate the arrival of Liz.
On the one hand I was sure I wanted to make her a baby outfit, but I also wanted to make her an amigurumi doll and almost by chance I found the pattern Lola the Ladybird by Alison North which seemed the perfect gift.
The truth is it cant make me happier to think that, although we are so many miles away, litte Liz can play with something made by me.
