Base:

For the base of our Free Pattern Virgen María Crochet we used a plastic ring of PET bottle (The plastic ring that is left in the mouth of the bottle when removing the lid ), We knit single crochet (sc) around it until completely covered, we joined with a slip stitch (ss) and fasten off. You can use this ring or other that will serve as a basis for your Free Pattern Virgen María Crochet.

How to arm your Virgen María:

We have the mantle and the body, so we will adjust the mantle over the head so that it stays on the head and neck like a “cap”, we check the front of the mantle and where it joins forward we will place our hands so that we see the Virgen María praying We set our hands with a few pins and we sew them together at the height that we deem convenient. Once your hands are sewn, we will continue to secure the mantle both at the base of the neck on the sides of the face, stitching two stitches on each side. Then we secure, sewn, the mantle on the sides of the hands. Sew the base at the lower part of the body. Let’s sew the crown at the head and ready, we have our Virgin list, made with this Free Pattern Virgen María Crochet.
